Our 3 Strands Flag Blend Essential Oil is made from 3 lavandula angustifolia varieties of lavender that we grow in our American Flag field. This is a special blend that we believe you will enjoy and a portion of every bottle sold will be donated to the Northwest Battle Buddies organization that provides service dogs to veterans.
We also have a lovely pure essential oil from our Miss Katherine variety. Miss Katherine is a pink flowering lavender and the scent is just lovely from the stem to the oil to the dried buds.
Our Celestial Star variety oil is light soft scent that you may enjoy also if you want something a little more suttle. This flower blooms white on long stems.
Lavender has many great properties and has been used for centuries in helping to bring calm and relaxation. When searching for benefits of lavender you will find many sources that will tell you that lavender offers support for sleep, has anti-inflammatory and antioxidant actions, helps with mood, anxiety, depression, has antimicrobial and antiviral properties, and is an all-around powerhouse herb. Lavender oil and hydrosol is used in cleaning solutions, bug repellent, linen spray, room deodorizers and even after bath spray for your hair to leave it feeling soft and smooth. It can also be used on your dog's hair.
It is recommended to use a carrier oil such as grapeseed oil, coconut oil, olive oil, almond oil, or jojoba oil when putting the essential oil on your skin.
