About Us

Our Lavender Journey

Our little hobby farm began back in 2008 in Monroe, Oregon, but our passion for growing lavender truly blossomed in 2019 when we planted our first 48 Hidcote plants. Since then, our dream has grown—quite literally! We have now planted another 700 lavender plants, featuring three beautiful varieties.

A special highlight of our farm is our American Flag tribute pattern, started on May 31st, 2021, in honor of our service men and women. For the white stripes, we’ve chosen the elegant Celestial Star variety; for the red, the lovely Miss Katherine; and for the blue, the striking Royal Velvet. We focus mainly on lavandula angustifolia to ensure you receive the purest, truest lavender possible.

After a couple of years of nurturing, our fields now burst into full bloom each June—a breathtaking sight and an aroma that fills the air with calm and joy. We love welcoming visitors to our U-Pick day every June, where you can stroll through the fields, breathe in the soothing scent, and enjoy a moment of relaxation and rest.

When our families joined together, we chose the name 3 Strands Farm, inspired by Ecclesiastes 4:12: “A cord of three strands is not easily broken.” As we serve the Lord, we are reminded that He is our strength and holds us together.

We hope our lavender becomes a cherished part of your daily life. Whether you use it for aromatherapy, culinary creations, or crafting, our goal is to provide you with the purest plants—a true blessing for you and your loved ones.
